When we received an email inquiry from Vancouver's Central Library about our cake pops for the library's 16th birthday back in April we were so excited. The ladies at the library planned a party filled with lots of sweetness, literally! Bright pink and purple were the colour theme, so we made 3 different varieties of cake pops, decorated with sugar cutouts. Lots of mini cupcakes, handmade marshmallows. Thanks so much to Marya and Sophie at VPL for letting us be part of the celebration.

EP!C LOVE 2011
Good times fly. After much preparation we were off to the Vancouver Convention Center last Friday for the annual EP!C Expo. This year's wedding showcase was bigger and with more vendors exhibiting. We spent 3 days meeting show visitors and friends new and old. For this year's exhibit, we decided to do something more on the romantic side. We used a vintage dresser, distressed wooden crates and antique chairs as our canvas and fill them with simple yet elegant cakes, french macarons and cake pops and adorned them with gorgeous and fragrant peonies, field tulips, garden roses and baby's breath in vintage milk glass vases. We had a wonderful weekend and would like to thank Globe Foundation and Vancouver Sun for organizing such a great event and Liliana and the crew at Green Chair Event for putting the wedding showcase together.
